DIRECTOR'S STATEMENT

Les Fins de Mois is a student short film I wrote and directed while attending CLCF film school in Paris. Shot on 16mm film with an ARRI camera and only 120 meters of film stock available, the project was an exercise in precision and economy.

I wrote the film as a sarcastic comedy inspired by the reality of male students who turn to sex work to make ends meet. Through a simple conversation between two brothers, the film approaches a serious subject with humor, awkwardness, and irony.
